Invoices

Polar.sh is the merchant of record for all Sightlabs subscriptions. This means Polar calculates and remits applicable taxes on your behalf, and your invoices are issued by Polar. You will find them in two places:

  • In your Sightlabs account settings, under Billing.
  • In the Polar customer portal, accessible from the link in any invoice email.

If you need a VAT invoice with a specific business name or tax ID, update your billing details in the Polar customer portal before your next billing cycle. Changes apply to future invoices only.

Upgrading and downgrading

You can change your plan at any time from account settings.

Upgrading

Takes effect immediately. You are charged a prorated amount for the remainder of the current billing period, then the new plan rate on the next renewal date.

Downgrading

Takes effect at the end of the current billing period. You keep your current plan features until the period ends. No prorated refund is issued for the unused days.

Cancellation

You can cancel your subscription at any time from account settings. Cancellation is effective at the end of the current billing period. Your account remains active and fully functional until that date.

After cancellation takes effect, your account reverts to a read-only state. You can view past scan results but cannot run new scans or access features above the free tier.

Refund policy

EU and UK consumers have a statutory 14-day cooling-off period. If you are based in the EU or UK and cancel within 14 days of your initial purchase, you are entitled to a full refund. Contact support to request it.

Outside of that statutory right, Sightlabs does not offer refunds for subscription payments already processed. See the Terms of Service for the full legal version of the refund policy.

Note
If you believe you were charged in error, contact support and we will investigate. Billing disputes are resolved within 5 business days.
